About Caves of Lore
MY JOURNEY MAKING THIS GAMEI’m a self-taught solo-dev who built this passion project over 6 years while holding down a full time job and raising a family. I dedicated myself to work 5 minutes a day no matter what, and built the game piece by piece, not really knowing where I was going or how it would all end.CAVES OF LORECaves of Lore is a turn-based, pixel-art, fantasy CRPG that combines elements of environmental exploration and character interaction with tactical, grid-based combat.Fun and weird adventures await as you progress through a world full of monsters and humor.
Instructions
- Click the Download button below and you will be redirected to UploadHaven.
- Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
- Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Caves of Lore v1.0.9.8.4.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Caves of Lore v1.0.9.8.4 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.

Downtown:
-Gas Station: Added five new events (three homekeeping exclusive), one new refueling event
-Gas Station: Added two new gloryhole events
-Desire: Added Mini Cage
Internet:
-icoast: Removed Mini Cage, added Flat Cage instead
Balance:
-Clit Cage now counts as a mini cage for hypno buffs
Misc:
-Replaced Mini Cage picture
-Players who owned the Mini Cage will have it replaced by the Flat Cage
Backend:
-Minor Gas Station work code improvements
-Minor improvements in other areas
Bugfixes:
-Fixed error with car when it runs out of fuel
-Fixed multiple checks with cheerleading content
-Fixed car refueling at 720 units of fuel (should be 420)
-Fixed dead end with the Gas Station refueling event
-Fixed crossdressing convincingness never counting tops and bottoms
-Fixed Emily’s Blue Moon content
